ABOUT JEET

Built on entrepreneurship. Focused on what comes next.

I’m Jeet Banerjee, an entrepreneur and digital marketing strategist with a long background in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, ecommerce, business building, and acquisitions. Today, I’m focused on AI customer acquisition and how businesses get discovered through AI search.

01 / BACKGROUND & PERSPECTIVE

Understanding discovery starts with understanding business.

A background in building businesses

My perspective comes from working across entrepreneurship, digital marketing, ecommerce, business building, and acquisitions. These disciplines share a practical question: how does a business earn attention, turn it into demand, and build something durable? That operating lens shapes the questions I bring to research.

Why AI search, and why now

AI platforms are changing the interface between a customer’s question and a business’s opportunity to be considered. I’m interested in what happens when discovery moves from browsing results to receiving an answer, and how contextual advertising might fit into that experience without undermining relevance or trust.

The disciplines behind the questions

Entrepreneurship and business building. Digital marketing and customer acquisition. Ecommerce and online discovery. Acquisitions and commercial evaluation. My current work connects that background to AI search, GEO, AEO, and contextual advertising, while keeping established experience separate from emerging hypotheses.

02 / CURRENT RESEARCH

How does a brand become part of the answer?

I’m studying the relationship between discoverability, attribution, recommendation, and acquisition across ChatGPT and the emerging AI search ecosystem. The aim is to develop useful frameworks and repeatable methods, not to promise a formula for visibility.

The questions include what influences brand mentions and citations; how GEO and AEO relate to useful, attributable content; how conversational context changes advertising relevance; and how AI-assisted discovery connects to meaningful customer action.

My approach is to define the question, document the context, repeat the observation, and be explicit about limitations. A promising pattern is a reason to investigate, not a conclusion on its own.
